If so, you could be just who we, at Waylands Automotive, are looking for! We’re currently looking for a Service Advisor for our Volvo dealership in Swindon. This role is to act as the liaison between our customers and service technicians and be the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, estimating costs and conducting inspections.
- Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and return business.
- Using online bookings, phone calls, and in‑person interactions to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop‑offs, and pick‑ups with customers, using our in‑hours and manufacturer systems and processes.
- Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop.
- Liaising with technician colleagues about vehicle statuses and ensuring that vehicles are ready for customers on time.
About You:
- You’ll be an active listener and excellent communicator.
- You’ll adopt a positive attitude with all customers.
- You’ll take ownership of the role and make it your own.
- You’ll get job satisfaction from providing an outstanding service to our customers.
- You’ll be comfortable working to deadlines.
- You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
- If you have Service Advisor experience, that’s great; we are happy to train anyone with some experience in customer service.
Salary, Hours and Benefits:
- Set rota includes some Saturday mornings (approximately 45 hours per week).
- Base salary of £30k plus department bonus with an OTE of £40k.
- 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays, some of which you will be required to cover).
