Due to the continuing success of Waylands, we are looking for a Site Progressor to join the team at Newbury Polestar. The successful applicant will be highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Previous experience in the motor trade or a similar administrative role would be advantageous, though full training will be provided.

Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group, with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales.

What’s the Role?

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the vehicle preparation process from order through to handover, ensuring a smooth and timely experience for both customers and internal teams. This role involves coordinating with sales and service to ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards and delivered on time, and that the site looks tidy and presentable at all times.

Typical Duties

  • Prepare vehicles for customers once sold.
  • Ensure all vehicles have been photographed for the website.
  • Check on the progress of vehicles throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to prioritise vehicle handovers.
  • Ensure all vehicle documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain the site keeping it presentable.
  • General housekeeping and admin support to facilitate Sales team performance.
