We’re currently looking for a Service Advisor for our Volvo dealership in Bristol.
Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group, with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales.
Responsibilities
This role is to act as the liaison between our customers and service technicians and to be the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair.
Your responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, estimating costs, and conducting inspections.
Duties will include
- Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and return business.
- Using online bookings, phone calls, and in‑person interactions to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop‑offs, and pick‑ups.
- Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop.
- Liaising with technician colleagues about vehicle statuses and ensuring vehicles are ready for customers on time.
About You
- You’ll be an active listener and an excellent communicator.

- You’ll take ownership of the role and make it your own.
- You’ll find job satisfaction in providing outstanding service to our customers.
- You’ll be comfortable working to deadlines.
- You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
- If you have Service Advisor experience, that’s great, but we are happy to train anyone with some customer service experience.
- Salary, Hours and Benefits
- 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday‑Friday; Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm on a rota basis.
- Base salary of £30,000 plus department bonus scheme.
- 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays; some may require coverage).
