About Wayflyer
Today's small businesses need a capital provider that keeps pace with their growth ambitions.
Traditional financing options are slow, cumbersome and often out of reach.
That's why we built Wayflyer.
Our technology allows us to assess businesses in minutes, generate financing offers that reflect their growth potential and send funds in as little as 24 hours.
To date, we've deployed over $6bn to thousands of businesses worldwide, backed by Tier 1 banks like J.
Morgan.
The challenge
There are thousands of businesses globally growing fast and hitting the same wall - they need capital, and traditional lenders are too slow, too rigid, or simply not interested.
We've already deployed over $6bn to growing businesses like these.
The opportunity in front of us is significant, and we need people who can capitalise on it.
What You'll Actually Do
You’ll own the full sales cycle from sourcing your own leads to closing deals with some of the most exciting consumer brands on the market.
You’ll run in-depth discovery calls using MEDDPICC, work closely with our underwriting team to move fast without cutting corners, and negotiate deals that genuinely work for both sides.
You’ll have a dedicated BDR alongside you, but you’ll not wait around for a full pipeline to land in your lap.
The best AEs here source relentlessly, close confidently, and treat their customers like business partners, not transactions.
Top performers are hitting ~200% of target.
That’s not a boast.
It’s a signal of what’s possible.
What This Role Could Turn Into
Account Executives at Wayflyer tend to grow in one of two directions - first on the ground in one of our emerging verticals, or into team leadership as we scale.
We’re continuing to launch new products and verticals, which means the people who perform here will have real options.
We’d rather promote from within than hire from outside, and our track record reflects that.
Who Thrives Here
You’ve worked a full sales cycle before, and you didn't just hit your number; you understood exactly why you hit it and what to do differently when you didn't.
You source your own pipeline without being asked, and you don't wait for perfect conditions to start.
You’re energised by ambiguity, not paralysed by it.
You push deals forward when others would wait for a signal.
When a sceptical founder pushes back, you lean in.
You’ve been told "no" and come back with a better question.
You care about e Commerce and small business growth, not as a line on a cover letter, but as a genuine reason you want this job.
We hire for range
Full sales cycle experience across a range of deal values (think: $50K to 500K) in Saa S or Fin Tech, ideally with time spent as an outbound BDR/SDR.
You know what it takes to build a pipeline from scratch, not just work it.
A consistent track record of exceeding targets matters more than tenure.
Resilience shows up in your history: you've had a bad quarter, figured out why, and bounced back stronger.
MEDDPICC familiarity is required.
Startup or scale-up experience helps; the pace here is real, the playbook is still being written, and we need people who see that as an opportunity, not a risk.
- Location and working policy
