Your Role at a Glance
- Analyse financial & non‑financial data of new and existing customers to gain an understanding of their business.
- Understand and quantify the risks involved in running an eCommerce business and in Wayflyer providing funding to such a business.
- Support and help co‑ordinate regular calls with our customers to enhance our understanding of their business and funding requirements.
- Work closely with management to build and implement new processes and products.
- Support our sales and operations teams by understanding how they win and manage relationships with customers.
- Learn about our existing loan portfolio, our portfolio management tools, and know when to exit risky relationships.
- Work with various departments and colleagues across the business.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 1‑2 years of relevant work experience (ideally in a finance‑related role, but not required).
- Consistent and strong academic record.
- Interest in credit risk analysis and portfolio management.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law, or Computer Science.
- Ability to analyse and understand financial reporting presented by companies.
- Comfortable leading regular internal and external (client) meetings and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset, quantitative inclination, and ability to juggle risk mitigation with growth.
How You’ll Stand Out
- ACA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA qualification or studying toward a professional accounting/finance qualification.
- Experience in MS Excel and/or SQL.
