You’ll be the Product Design Manager across one of Cleo's product Pillars. You’ll help shape product strategy and design impact across pillars and manage Designers across multiple squads. As part of our design leadership team, you’ll work closely with our other Product Design Managers, Head of Content Design, and Head of User Research to bring consistency, quality and focus to all parts of Cleo’s product and play a key role in building and nurturing a high-performing, supportive and world-class design chapter.
Key Responsibilities- Set and uphold a high standard of design craft, thinking, and execution across all touchpoints.
- Establish and maintain scalable design processes and best practices across squads and pillars.
- Define and drive design strategy for the Growth pillar, positioning Cleo as a chat-based financial coach.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to align company vision with pillar strategy and OKRs.
- Guide squads in prioritising and delivering high-impact work across both iterative improvements and long-term vision.
- Support team and individual growth through coaching, performance standards, and career development.
- Contribute to people initiatives including hiring, learning and development, org design, and progression frameworks.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment where designers can thrive and do their best work.
- Extensive experience leading and managing high-performing product design teams across multiple product areas.
- Proven track record of launching high-quality, successful mobile products with polished UI, strong brand alignment, and innovative UX.
- Confident in setting and communicating design direction in fast-paced, complex, or ambiguous environments.
- Experienced in co-owning product strategy and OKRs with product and engineering, delivering both user and commercial impact.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and inspire teams with a compelling design vision.
- Comfortable working at pace in a startup environment, with a pragmatic and action-oriented mindset.
