InsurX are on a mission to build the technology that connects any broker and any insurer so they can exchange risk without friction. After our first partners signed up in late 2022, 27 broking houses and 22 insurers have now traded over $150m in premium using our technology. We’re targeting $1B of premium traded using our technology by the end of 2027. The insurance market is ripe for change and rapidly digitalising – this isn’t just our opinion, it’s the market’s consensus. The insurance industry is like investment banking in the late ‘70s: it’s about to go through its own “Big Bang”. InsurX is leading the charge. We’re making a success of it by assembling a stellar team of diverse talent, uniting technology expertise with deep knowledge of the insurance business. Our team is united by intellectual curiosity and a determination to change insurance for the better.

The opportunity InsurX is a fast-growing London Market insurtech focused on improving how brokers and underwriters trade. We are now looking for a Marketing Manager to own and execute the marketing function, translating a clear 2026 strategy into high-impact, measurable activity. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the London Market broking ecosystem, is comfortable operating independently, and wants real ownership rather than layers of sign-off. You will be the day-to-day driver of campaigns, content, PR, and event presence working closely with our Fractional CMO, commercial leadership and external partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Demand Generation: Execute the 2026 marketing plan developed by the Fractional CMO, with accountability for delivery and results. Run targeted LinkedIn advertising campaigns using LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Sales Navigator, focused on defined broker and market personas. Track engagement, intent signals and performance to inform optimisation and commercial follow-up. Work closely with the commercial team to ensure marketing activity supports pipeline growth and market awareness.
  • Content & Messaging: Draft and manage marketing content across channels, including LinkedIn and Website. Work with the PR agency to shape narratives, draft content and support proactive media activity. Ensure all messaging reflects InsurX’s positioning, tone of voice and credibility within the London Market.
  • PR & Agency Management: Act as day-to-day lead for the PR agency, managing briefs, content development and approvals. Ensure PR activity aligns with wider campaign objectives and commercial moments.
  • Events & Awards: Manage InsurX’s presence at industry events and awards, including planning attendance and sponsorships, managing marketing assets and messaging, and supporting follow-up and post-event activity. Coordinate with partners and internal stakeholders to maximise return on event investment.
  • Reporting & Measurement: Monitor and report on campaign performance, engagement, and lead indicators. Provide clear, concise updates to the Fractional CMO and leadership team.

Skills & experience

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with at least a couple within the London Market insurance ecosystem, with a strong understanding of broking.
  • Hands-on expertise with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Experience running targeted B2B advertising and measuring engagement and intent.
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently.
  • Interest in technology and insurtech.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting commercial or sales teams in complex B2B environments.
  • Exposure to industry events, awards, or sponsorship activity.
  • Experience drafting market-appropriate copy.
  • Experience managing external agencies (PR or marketing).

Personal Attributes

  • A self-starter who enjoys ownership and accountability.
  • Commercially minded, with an instinct for what resonates with brokers and market stakeholders.
  • Confident operating as a stand-alone marketing lead, without heavy supervision.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic intent with hands-on delivery.
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to challenge and improve how things are done.
