We make it easy for developers and AIs to build on health data. Hundreds of wearables, sensors, labs, and health apps are connected, normalized, and made intelligent through a single platform. Thousands of developers and AI labs build on Terra today, processing over 15 billion health data events per year. The health OS addresses the fragmentation of health data, as every device, app, and sensor speaks a different language. We built the health OS to solve that — a full-stack platform that turns raw, messy, siloed health data into something developers and AIs can reason over, build on, and ship with.

Founded in 2021, Terra operates from London, San Francisco, and South Korea. We are funded by Y Combinator (W21), General Catalyst, Samsung NEXT, NEXT Ventures, and many of the world's finest investors. Our team consists of engineers, researchers, builders, and designers who get things done, think from first principles, and learn ferociously. We default to yes, ship fast, hack, build, and avoid bureaucracy.

At Terra, we aim to be the infrastructure for health data and products alike. To achieve this, we need world-class engineers capable of creating the most intuitive and pleasing UI for our customers and internal team. Branding is also a very important aspect here at Terra. You will work directly with product engineers to build and evaluate UI/UX to ensure everyone stays on their happy path!

You must be able to:

  • Build, design, and manage frontend components
  • Ensure a high-quality standard for the code base
  • Work on some of the most challenging frontend design problems

We currently use AWS and GCP along with NextJS (Typescript), HTML, CSS, and Tailwind for frontend development. We do not discriminate by language, and if you have a preferred language within reason, we are happy to let you build with it!

What We Value
