About the role
What you’ll do
- Lead and execute Emma’s CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy — from monthly updates to retention and reactivation campaigns.
- Own Emma’s organic web presence, ensuring the site is always up-to-date, SEO-optimised, and aligned with our product and brand.
- Manage PR and brand initiatives, from press outreach to supporting thought leadership and media opportunities.
- Create and oversee content that converts — from blog posts and product updates to careers pages and social storytelling.
- Build and nurture our community of Emma users, driving engagement through creative campaigns, events, and social activity.
- Plan and deliver brand activations and events that promote Emma’s mission and connect us with new audiences.
- Manage brand assets and decks, ensuring everything we publish feels cohesive, high-quality, and on brand.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ experience in content, growth, or lifecycle marketing — ideally at a high-growth startup or fintech.
- A strong portfolio of work across content, email, or brand storytelling.
- Proven ability to adapt tone and style across channels — from educational blog posts to product updates and lifecycle campaigns.
- Hands‑on experience with technical SEO, including structured data, keyword planning, and content optimisation.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Mailchimp, Braze, HubSpot, or similar).
- Comfort managing content calendars and working cross-functionally with design, product, and performance teams.
- Experience in PR or communications (press releases, journalist outreach, thought leadership).
- A deep interest in fintech and Emma’s mission to empower people financially.
- Attention to detail, curiosity, and a drive to experiment and learn.
