Salary: The salary range for this position is £27,972 – £31,080 per year, however the base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

As a Transport Planner on the First Mile Routing Operations team, you will execute and optimize daily supplier collection plans for the US and Canada. This role requires exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to collaborate with carrier partners and various internal teams to improve key metrics like on-time delivery and route utilization, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Your Impact:
- Execute daily inbound & outbound plans to meet speed, cost, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Manage and adjust routing software (Descartes) settings to continuously enhance route planning.
- Collaborate effectively with carriers, depots and planning teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Analyze and use data to drive improvements in core metrics like route utilization, scheduled stops, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor routes proactively to find ways to improve efficiency and prevent service disruptions.
- Collaborate with the technology teams to provide feedback and suggest process improvements.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience effectively route planning within logistics, distribution and /or supply chain as a Transport Planner or similar role.
- Exceptional problem solving skills with ability to find and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Attention to detail and capability of managing multiple tasks while excelling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communicator, someone who can engage and effectively collaborate with cross functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilience and ability to effectively time manage and prioritize tasks to meet volatile live deadlines.
- Ability to use data analysis to drive improvements in key metrics.
- English language fluency, both verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude in Google or Microsoft Suite; Display the agility to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
