- What will you do
- Support day-to-day procurement activities, maintaining supplier, pricing and contract information.
- Assist with supplier RFQs by gathering information, preparing documentation and producing commercial comparisons.
- Maintain contract trackers, monitor renewal dates and support the administration of supplier agreements.
- Update commercial information including rate cards, fuel indices and pricing changes.
- Support carrier onboarding and ensure commercial information is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders, preparing agendas and meeting notes.
- Maintain procurement documentation, trackers and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure procurement activities follow internal governance and approval processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, communicating confidently at all levels of the business.
- What you will need
- Proven experience working within an operational, supplier or customer focused role.
- Effective communication skills, someone who builds collaborative partnerships and influences senior stakeholders on strategic decisions.
- Proficient in navigating multiple systems, learning new software quickly, and using AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Capability in managing multiple projects simultaneously; overseeing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across procurement records, documentation, and data.
- English language fluency, both verbal and written communication skills.
While logistics experience is beneficial, it’s not essential - full training and support will be provided to help you succeed.
