As our new Pricing Strategy Manager for the UK & Ireland, you’ll play a critical role in shaping pricing and investment strategies that drive sustainable growth, supplier success and bottom-line impact. This role is ideal for a senior analyst with some mentorship/managerial experience looking to step into a leadership role, or a manager in the early stages of their leadership career eager to make a measurable impact in a high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do
- Optimise Profit Margins: Design and implement pricing strategies that balance customer value and long-term profitability across markets.
- Run the Numbers: Leverage promotional levers, brand pricing initiatives, and supplier investment strategies to improve financial performance.
- Forecast Like a Pro: Partner with Finance to lead profitability planning, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic planning.
- Solve Big Problems: Use your analytical toolkit (Excel, SQL, Python, R, BigQuery) to uncover insights and solve complex, ambiguous business challenges.
- Deliver Insights: Monitor business performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Work across Finance, Marketing, Supplier Partnerships, Engineering, and Analytics to align strategies and improve tools.
- Mentor & Lead: Guide junior analysts and foster a high-performance culture within a collaborative 5-person team.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in pricing, finance, analytics, strategy consulting, or a similarly quantitative field.
- Proven ability to work with and interpret large datasets to influence commercial strategy.
- Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and other analytical tools (Python/R a plus).
- Strong business acumen and commercial intuition - you understand how pricing impacts customer behaviour, supplier performance, and business goals.
- A natural problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning data into strategic action.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - confident working across levels and departments.
- Background in eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods is beneficial but not essential.
