Wayfair is looking for a Media & Marketing Operations Lead to drive the next phase of growth for our EU marketing organization, with a primary focus on the UK and Ireland. This is a high‑impact role for a strong operator who combines analytical rigor, commercial judgment, and hands‑on leadership.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and develop a team of 2 analysts, creating a high‑accountability, high‑autonomy culture with clear priorities, strong coaching, and a high quality bar.
  • Own media budget planning across key upper‑funnel channels including TV, VOD / online video, Audio, OOH, partnerships, and selected brand‑supporting media activity.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting and planning processes, ensuring strong budget discipline, accurate planning, clear assumptions, and timely visibility into risks and trade‑offs.
  • Own investment tracking, performance reporting, and ROI / incrementality readouts for your channels, helping build the broader UK story of how media investments are performing together.
  • Lead MMM, GeoMMM, attribution, and other measurement inputs for your channels, translating findings into practical planning rhythms, optimization opportunities, and clear investment recommendations.
  • Build and maintain clear channel performance reporting that helps senior stakeholders understand media effectiveness, efficiency, reach, attribution, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop investment recommendations in close partnership with media agencies and internal stakeholders, with final budget decisions made alongside senior leadership.
  • Own media agency relationships from an operational and commercial perspective, including ways of working, follow‑through, reporting quality, and investment discipline.
  • Act as the operational bridge between media planning and creative delivery, ensuring creative requirements for media channels are identified early, scoped clearly, and aligned with the Head of Creative and Production Operations.
  • Strengthen cross‑channel planning across Brand, CRM, Promotions, Finance, and other stakeholders so media decisions are better integrated and amplification opportunities are surfaced earlier.
  • Improve the systems, tooling, and reporting infrastructure behind the team, including workflow platforms such as Monday.com / Jira and more automated reporting and planning solutions.
  • Champion practical AI‑enabled ways of working across reporting, forecasting, insight generation, and operational efficiency, while anticipating second‑order impacts, identifying risks early, and keeping stakeholders aligned through fast‑moving priorities and market shifts.
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching and developing junior analytical or operational talent, while maintaining hands‑on excellence.
  • Strong experience in media operations, marketing operations, investment planning, media strategy support, or a similar analytical marketing leadership role.
  • Experience owning or heavily influencing budgets, forecasting, reporting, and investment decision‑making across paid media or upper‑funnel channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial judgment, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and practical action.
  • Experience with MMM, incrementality, attribution, media measurement, or comparable channel evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and holding partners to a high bar on reporting, execution, and commercial rigor.
  • Strong understanding of UK and Ireland media channels.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with frequent change, competing priorities, and evolving business needs.
  • A calm, steady leadership style, with the ability to bring structure to complexity and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ideally, a mix of in‑house / brand‑side and agency experience.
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, home, or other high‑volume consumer categories is a plus.
  • Experience building AI‑enabled workflows for reporting, planning, insight generation, or operational efficiency is a plus.
  • Experience contributing to broader media narrative‑setting or investment storytelling for senior leadership is a plus.
