CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is our digital freight forwarding service that we treat as a start up within Wayfair. We offer suppliers competitive and efficient logistics solutions to get their products out quicker, and we\'ve been delivering successfully so far. So much so, that we\'re now investing in bringing the team over to the UK, and growing our business here. We\'re looking for a Sales Associate to join us, embedding themselves into the team, and playing a fundamental part in both laying and building the foundations for growth, across the UK and Europe. What you\'ll do: You\'ll be at the heart of building great relationships — spotting opportunities, reaching out to potential customers and suppliers, and showcasing our amazing products. From that first “hello” to a smooth handover to account management, you’ll be a trusted guide, helping new clients feel confident and supported every step of the way. You’ll also be the go-to for keeping our client database sharp and up to date, tracking your prospecting efforts, and leading the charge on exciting sales campaigns, both inside the business and out in the wider world. You\'ll keep a close eye on our sales funnel — making sure things run smoothly, efficiently, and always in line with our qualification process. We’re big on data and love seeing the bigger picture. You’ll play a key role in shaping decisions by diving into sales data, uncovering insights, and putting together reports that help us work smarter and perform better. From time to time, you’ll get out and about across the UK, meeting suppliers face-to-face and representing us at industry events. What you\'ll need: We\'re looking for someone that has the energy and passion to take a start-up and really help it grow, combined with strong sales skills delivered with entrepreneurial flair. We know that people buy off people, and we are looking for someone who has an engaging communication style, who can effectively connect with prospects to promote, influence and progress Wayfair\'s interests. You\'ll have a sales background ideally in Logistics, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Construction, Commercial or Professional Services with demonstrable B2B or B2C success. This includes having knowledge and aptitude in lead generation and building targeted sales pipelines, as well as experience of cold calling, telemarketing and/or outbound sales. Whilst we do work as a team, we need everybody to contribute to creating a motivated, and self driven environment.
