- To ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted in line with our Safeguarding policy and ensure all team members do the same.
- To implement the daily routine in the 2-3 year old room.
- To work under the direction of the Manager/Room leader to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
- To promote the aims and objectives of the Pre‑school.
- To promote plank standard at all times to parents, staff, and visitors.
- To assist with the development and implementation of systems to monitor and record child development.
- To assist with the preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment.
- To be responsible for the health and safety standards appropriate for the needs of young children and ensuring staff compliance and awareness.
- To be flexible within working practices of the setting. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the setting – e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc.
- To plan as part of a team.
- Supporting and leading activities with the children.
- Ensuing all policy and procedures are carried out at all times.
- To lead meetings with parents and carers of you key children to share progress and set next steps.
