Area: Covering Taunton, South Somerset and some of our ECHs

Hours: Bank / £12.69-£13.74 per hour

About the role

You do not need qualifications or previous experience to apply for this role, full training will be provided. A good pair of eyes, a listening ear and a warm caring nature is all you need for this role.

Please Note: A Full UK driving licence and vehicle is required for this role.

Working as a Care & Support Worker you will make a real difference to the lives of our service users. Our customers deserve the best care possible, every day of the year. You will therefore have the commitment and desire to give someone your best attention.

Location: Covering Taunton, South Somerset and some of our ECH’s

Shift Patterns: 7am-2pm and/or 4pm-10pm

Days: Can be Flexible but all employees must be available to work alternative weekends.

Care & Support Worker Duties Include

  • Assisting with morning and evening routines; dressing, personal care, etc.
  • Meal preparation; making a cracking cup of tea through to helping with breakfast, lunch or dinner.
  • Light domestic duties.
  • Companionship, our customers are full of great stories they love a listening ear and being able to relive their memories within their stories.
  • Assistance with medication.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
