Wax London is a fast-growing Menswear brand with ecommerce, retail and wholesale channels. Born out of a desire to make great clothes with character and integrity, we draw inspiration from vintage and modern shapes and weave in texture, pattern and print to create more than just clothing but pieces full of personality.
We are looking for a passionate detail-oriented Product Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Product Developer, you will support the product development team in bringing our seasonal collections to life, from initial concept to final production. In this role, you will take ownership of the development of our seasonal collections, guiding products from initial concept through to final production. Working closely with our design and production teams, as well as our manufacturing partners and suppliers, you will ensure every product is thoughtfully developed, responsibly made, and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development process from initial concept through to final production.
- Own development for specific categories or collections, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetic, quality standards, and commercial targets.
- Translate design intent into technically sound and production-ready products.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key suppliers and manufacturers.
- Manage development timelines, negotiate lead times, and support cost discussions.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships aligned with ethical and sustainability standards.
- Evaluate and approve material options, balancing performance, cost, and sustainability.
- Drive best practice usage of systems and processes across the product development team.
- Anticipate risks to timelines and proactively adjust plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate development status, risks, and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Ensure all developments align with the brandβs sustainability commitments and compliance requirements.
- Own and manage product data within the Zedonk system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years of experience in fashion product development or related roles.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and sustainable sourcing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and other design/product development tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness.
- Passion for fashion, quality, and sustainability.
- Desirable: knowledge of the Zedonk product development system.
