The role involves positioning Wavin as a relevant partner for decision makers in the stormwater management environment. You will act as a trusted advisor on climate resilience for our clients and stormwater management, driving the execution of the UCR go-to-market strategy in the country.
Responsibilities include:
- Building up a solid pipeline of sales opportunities within the UCR business.
- Accountable for own sales results and Individual Seller Plan.
- Proactively seeking and realizing new business opportunities.
- Designing and calculating on project level.
- Guiding and supporting the sales team to secure the achievement of objectives in terms of market position, growth, and profitability.
- Utilizing CRM as a tool to manage the UCR business in the country, keeping customer accounts updated, logging regular face-to-face meetings for target accounts, and sharing account development progress.
- Planning and working according to SAMBA methodology and applying the relevant tools in different phases, coaching sales team members.
- Acting as the technical point of contact for the sales team and customers, coordinating technical requests and solving issues.
- Building and sharing market intelligence – understanding of customers, markets, competitors, products, and applications.
- Translating from legislative text to business language and propositions (and vice versa).
The ideal profile includes:
- Technical professional with 5 years+ UK market experience, having worked at engineering companies or end-client’s engineering teams.
- Technical background and experience in design, evaluation, and construction of stormwater management or similar Urban Climate Resilience systems.
- Ability to inspire and transform client pains into demand, with experience in interacting with clients on their technical level and a proven track record of winning projects and understanding full project scopes.
- Proficiency with CRM, project management, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of local market opportunities and challenges.
- Team player, motivator, and excellent communicator with an entrepreneurial drive.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree relevant to one or more solution areas preferred, e.g., hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, software engineering, urban planning, stormwater management, water treatment, or similar, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
