Main purpose
The engineer will provide design and maintenance support for operational endpoints (in an area of logistics and production) and for the central systems dedicated to manage them.
Main responsibilities
- Define hardware and process standards in area of logistics and OT devices
- Manage central systems dedicated for the devices (mainly MDM solutions)
- Supports RFP processes for the hardware and coordinates license purchases
- Defines, develops, deploys and documents configuration of the clients and apps
- Provides L3 support for the endpoints in scope of responsibility
- Coordinates vendor support programs (including MSP-s) and escalation cases
- Supports endpoints implementation and replacement projects
- Trains the L2 support specialists and documents solutions
- Defines service development plans and initiatives
- Coordinate centralization and standardization of the related service in Orbia
Requiring occasional travel to Orbia sites in the United Kingdom (10% of the time), depending on projects.
Our requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience on a similar position in IT in a manufacturing related company
- Good communication skills (phone, MS Teams, face2face) in English in an international, global team
- Experience with SCRUM / Agile work model
- Availability for remote / hybrid work including flexibility work time for projects across time zones.
- Experience with implementing endpoint services for logistics and production devices (RF terminals / Label printers / thin clients)
- Experience in preparation of Technical / Process architecture
- Experience in leading international projects, managing technical teams.
- Knowledge of following solutions: MS Intune, SOTI Mobicontrol, Google Zero Touch, Zebra StageNow and other platforms related to logistics or production devices
- Knowledge of the hardware offering and modern solutions in the area of logistics / production devices
