We’re looking for a People Business Partner who’s ready to make an impact — someone who will play a pivotal role in shaping our site’s People strategy while providing exceptional support to our Operations and Supply Chain teams. This is an exciting opportunity to drive organisational effectiveness, champion engagement, and deliver high-quality HR initiatives alongside a collaborative and forward-thinking People team.
As our People Business Partner, you’ll be the trusted advisor to leaders across the site, guiding, influencing, and enabling them to deliver exceptional results through their teams. You will:
- Act as a proactive partner on employment law, training & development, employee relations, L&D, recruitment, organisational change, and policies.
- Drive and deliver People and improvement projects ensuring outcomes are aligned to the business strategy and legislation.
- Effectively partner management teams at Operation Reviews, Pay Reviews, Consultative Council and Trade Union Meetings.
- Initiate and influence change management programs.
- Champion communication and staff engagement within all business functions.
- Influence, coach and mentor Managers in all areas of people leadership.
- Create and deliver Talent Management Recruitment/Development plans with senior teams in accordance with Succession Planning strategies.
- Successfully lead to completion any business restructures, using your legal knowledge and compliance of all elements of the redundancy process.
Current knowledge of UK HR best practice gained within a manufacturing or similar industry is essential. Business Partner experience within manufacturing or a similar operational environment is required. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR ERP systems (SAP desirable). A postgraduate HR qualification (or equivalent) and GCSE Maths & English (grade C or above) are necessary. Previously successfully designed and delivered local training programmes. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
