About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment
- Developing new activities where and when required, whilst always taking into consideration health and safety standards and legislation
- Project work and supporting the Lead Engineers in maintaining plant and equipment, customer service requirements and required OEE
- Conducting day to day maintenance activities, maintaining machine availability
- Conducting proactive work including PPM and improvement work
- Actively and analytically fault finding
- Contributing to implementing new working methods and actively participating in continuous improvement
- Involvement in site projects
- Maintaining maintenance monitoring
- Operating in line with all health and safety standards
- Implementing and adhering to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
- Supporting the Lead Engineers in implementing workplace organisation across the engineering department
- Mentoring Apprentices within the Maintenance department
- Attending daily engineering steering, weekly RCA and monthly energy meetings
About You
- Qualified Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment (electrical bias preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of: Injection Moulding, Extrusion and Automated Assembly Systems
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- High degree of flexibility to meet business needs
