We are looking for a candidate who will join the new Leadership Team to develop and deliver a high‑performing Joint Private Sector Housing Team in the run‑up to local government reorganisation.
Responsibilities- Establish a one‑service, one‑council ethos between the two Private Sector Housing teams.
- Implement and develop the new Shared Regulatory Service, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
- Lead private sector housing enforcement and performance management activities.
- Drive communication and customer‑service excellence across the organisation.
- Provide flexibility, including mandatory work outside normal hours as required.
- Proven knowledge and experience in private sector housing enforcement.
- Strong background in performance management, communication and customer service.
- Effective management skills and ability to develop professional knowledge and expertise.
- Experience working in a busy, dynamic environment.
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Capacity to work flexible hours if required.
