Do you have a degree, preferably in town and country planning, and are looking to start or take the next step in your career in planning where you can develop a wide range of skills and experience? We are an ambitious Council, always trying to improve the many public services that we provide to our residents. Even more importantly, we aim to help preserve and enhance Waverley’s beautiful and precious environment and make a positive impact on the lives of everybody who lives or works here in Waverley.

It’s an exciting time for the Waverley Planning Policy team as we have started the preparation of a new Local Plan and we are looking for a motivated person to join us. If you have an interest in the built and rural environment and would like to play an active role in preparing it, and support the preparation of neighbourhood plans, then we would be delighted to receive an application from you.

This is an agile post which allows the holder to work from home for part of the week after an initial period of induction at the discretion of their line manager depending on the business needs of the service. This post is a full-time role. However, all applications will be considered.
