- 3 +years' experience in a busy high-profile hospitality venue
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency

- Ability to multitask under pressure and show initiative
- Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
- Customer -orientated and service-minded as well as flexible and proactive
- Varying shift times across the seven days to include working evenings, weekends and both opening and closing shifts
- To share the same values as all of us at Waverley Abbey.
- Report and be accountable to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager
- Lead and manage the Food and Bev team when the Food and Bev Operations Manager is not present
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service
- Provide line management to members of the team
- Keep up to date with business knowledge and awareness of the organisation’s strategic goals in collaboration with the Ops Manager
- Maintain standards of excellence, within customer service, etiquette and knowledge
- Be familiar with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry and have the ability to maintain the highest standards of Food Safety and diligence
- Assist the F&B Operations Manager in inventory management and cost control
- Participation in all training, development and appraisal programmes
- Assist the F&B Operations Manager with administrative tasks
- Lead by example by encouraging positivity and team work on the Food and Bev team
