As our Apprentice HR Administrator, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our HR Director and wider HR team, providing high-quality administrative support across the full employee lifecycle for over 1,700 colleagues nationwide.
From drafting contracts to onboarding new starters, helping with payroll updates to supporting HR projects and note-taking in employee meetings—you’ll experience all aspects of a busy HR function and develop essential skills to launch your HR career.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Preparing employment contracts and offer letters
- Coordinating onboarding and induction processes
- Maintaining personnel files and ensuring right-to-work compliance
- Supporting payroll changes and data updates
- Assisting managers with probation, exit interviews, and performance documentation
- Updating internal HR documentation, structure charts, and trackers
- Taking minutes during employee relation meetings
- Supporting the implementation of HR projects and change programmes
- Conducting office-based DSE assessments
- Being a trusted point of contact for colleague queries
