Our client is a progressive and friendly Chartered Accountancy practice with a reputation for providing a high quality personal service and commercial advice. Due to current and future growth plans they are looking for a bright qualified Senior Accountant with the experience to manage a portfolio of clients.
The Role – Senior Accountant
As Senior Accountant the role will involve the following and where experience is lacking training and support will be given:
- Dealing with accountancy and tax compliance for clients
- Responsible for managing own workflow
- Managing the day to day client relationship and dealing with client queries
- Involvement with training junior staff
- Developing abilities in more complex areas of tax & other client matters
- Requires effective communication to effectively deal with clients and colleagues
- Able to problem solve and find quick solutions to problems
- Managing own / junior staff workflow & client work
- Achieve a level of technical knowledge commensurate with the position
- Working with other seniors as a team to improve the practice generally and encourage each other
- Taking responsibility for the ongoing management of clients, workflow, supervision and training

Senior Accountant Requirements
The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience gained from training in an Accountancy Practice. Must be a confident communicator when dealing with both colleagues and clients.
