We’re recruiting on behalf of a small but fast-growing independent firm in Northampton – a team that’s expanding quicker than expected and now needs someone with the right experience to step in and help shape the future.
This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:
- Has experience in a small firm environment
- Is either ACA/ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience
- Wants progression, but isn’t finding it where they are
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies
- Assisting with personal tax returns
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Working directly with directors and clients
- Using Xero (cloud-based) software daily
What you’ll need:
- Solid practice experience, especially with small limited companies
- Experience in tax compliance (personal and corporation) would be a plus
- Competence in VAT and management accounts
- Xero knowledge is a must (experience with Sage or Iris also beneficial)
- A proactive mindset and desire to grow with the firm
