Semi-Senior Accountant in Milton Keynes

Overview

Semi-Senior Accountant position in Milton Keynes. Salary: £32K – £35K (depending on experience). This role is suitable for someone with around three years of UK accountancy practice experience who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses and is keen to continue developing their career in a supportive, friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Preparing management accounts.
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Assisting with payroll where required.
• Supporting managers with client work and responding to day-to-day queries.
• Some exposure to audit assignments.

Qualifications

• Around three years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of clients.
• Good bookkeeping and VAT knowledge.
• Enjoys building relationships with clients and working as part of a close-knit team.
• Keen to continue learning and developing their career.
