Audit Senior responsibilities:
The role involves planning, audit fieldwork and completion, and reporting to the Audit Manager. You will be responsible for training and reviewing juniors’ work. Audit work may include groups, international subsidiaries and other regulated sectors such as charities, FCA and solicitor clients. The department is expanding quickly and this role will be a springboard for someone to grow with the firm.
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior responsibilities:
The role involves assisting an Audit Senior in completing audits, and completing year-end statutory accounts from TB or incomplete records, as well as sole trader and partnership accounts.
Requirements:
- Between 2-4 years previous experience in a firm of accountants.
- Knowledge in accounting and audit and keen to advance your career.
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part way through your studies.
- Good communication and team working skills.
About the roles:
The roles at both levels will be a mix of accounts, audit and basic tax for limited companies and will also provide exposure to special audit work, specifically charities. You will take responsibility for dealing directly with clients, requiring relevant practice experience gained from working within a UK practice environment. As experience develops, there is scope for progression within the firm, with plans for further growth, and you will be encouraged to be proactive and take on increased responsibility.
