Overview

This hands‑on role involves audit, accounts and tax compliance work for a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses. It offers 50% audit exposure while broadening client management and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit and assurance engagements for owner‑managed businesses.
• Prepare and review financial statements and accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and complete tax returns.
• Provide client advisory and support on accounting matters.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior staff.

Qualifications

• Practice‑trained ACA or ACCA.
• Experience in audit, accounts and tax for owner‑managed businesses.
• Strong communication skills and comfort dealing directly with clients.
• Proactive, willing to roll up sleeves, and eager to learn and take on more responsibility.
