Responsibilities:
- Lead statutory, SAR and grant audits as audit senior, overseeing junior staff during fieldwork.
- Prepare accounts from clients’ prime records and accounting software, requiring strong knowledge of FRS102 1A.
- Produce accounts to draft stage, including tax computation for manager review.
- Engage in project work to assist clients with business development and tax planning assignments.
- Provide management information such as cash flow forecasting.
- Review preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
- Train and develop junior staff members.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and related training.
- Support managers in portfolio management.
Candidate Attributes:
- Qualified ACA or ACCA.
- Experience dealing with client queries and liaising with clients on accounting matters.
- Proficient in accounting software, ideally IRIS and Xero.
