Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead statutory, SAR and grant audits as audit senior, overseeing junior staff during fieldwork.
  • Prepare accounts from clients’ prime records and accounting software, requiring strong knowledge of FRS102 1A.
  • Produce accounts to draft stage, including tax computation for manager review.
  • Engage in project work to assist clients with business development and tax planning assignments.
  • Provide management information such as cash flow forecasting.
  • Review preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Train and develop junior staff members.
  • Assist clients with bookkeeping and related training.
  • Support managers in portfolio management.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Experience dealing with client queries and liaising with clients on accounting matters.
  • Proficient in accounting software, ideally IRIS and Xero.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Enthusiastic about client service.
