They are looking for someone who is already operating confidently in a client-facing position and is comfortable taking ownership.

The successful candidate will work closely with the existing Accounts Manager, with the intention of gradually stepping into that position ahead of retirement.

The Role

This is a genuinely hands-on position combining technical delivery with client management and team oversight. Responsibilities will include:

The firm would welcome someone with audit experience, but this is not essential. There may be scope to gain exposure in audit if desired.

The Ideal Candidate

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or strong part-qualified close to completion)
  • Currently working in a client-facing role within practice
  • Comfortable reviewing work and providing guidance to juniors
  • A practical all-rounder across accounts and tax
