We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist with strong experience in product photography and e-commerce to help maintain and grow our online presence, while also supporting client sales and communications.
This role combines technical skill, visual creativity, and in-depth jewellery knowledge.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing Wave Antiques’ digital platforms, including our website and product photography.
You will photograph and upload jewellery listings, ensuring all entries are visually compelling, accurate, and SEO optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Website and Product Management
- Photograph jewellery using Orbitvu equipment; retouch and edit images using Adobe Creative Suite
- Create and manage product listings on the website, ensuring accuracy in titles, descriptions, materials, carat weights, hallmarks, measurements, condition, and period
- Write clear, engaging, and SEO optimised product descriptions in line with Wave’s tone and storytelling approach
- Maintain and refine the website’s visual presentation to reflect the brand’s identity
- Track product performance and suggest improvements to boost online engagement and conversion
- Content Creation
- Develop engaging digital content for social media, newsletters, and the website including behind-the-scenes footage, product highlights, and storytelling features
- Plan, film, and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, Tik Tok.
- Collaborate with the team to develop content calendars that align with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and market trends
- Collaboration and Brand Support
- Liaise with the stock and operations team to ensure new pieces are efficiently listed online
- Ensure consistency across all digital channels in terms of imagery, language, and tone
- Provide customer insights and sales data to inform digital strategies and inventory decisions
Skills and Experience
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and basic video editing (Premiere Pro or similar)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury, antique, or fine jewellery retail (B2C)
- Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or similar CMS
- Sound knowledge of SEO principles for digital content and product listings
- Excellent written English with sharp attention to detail
- Comfortable in client-facing situations with a strong record of successful sales
- Jewellery qualifications such as Gem-A (FGA/DGA) or GIA certification
- Proficiency in product photography, with experience using Orbitvu or similar studio setups
- In-depth knowledge of jewellery history, periods, and materials
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics and structured product metadata
