Position Overview: Water Efficiency Services Co‑ordinator (AMR) – 37 hours per week, 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Location: Contractual base in Pearl House, Peterborough or Salvus House, Durham. Hybrid working opportunities and occasional travel to either office location. Salary: £25,733 – £32,165. Job Level: D. Reporting to Director of Water Efficiency Services.

Role Summary: Wave’s Water Efficiency Services team are dedicated to helping business customers reduce water consumption, tackle water scarcity, and adapt to climate change. As part of our dynamic service delivery team, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, customers, and contractors to coordinate the delivery of national Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) services.

Typical Day: As AMR Coordinator you will be responsible for preparing and presenting AMR proposals, offering expert advice on solutions and delivery methods while supporting account managers. You’ll manage our nationwide AMR portfolio, coordinating installations, maintenance, and contractor performance to meet service standards. You’ll handle customer queries, ensure accurate billing and data integration, and monitor KPIs to maintain portfolio performance. You’ll also oversee contract renewals and invoicing, track profitability, and proactively identify upsell opportunities through data analysis and customer engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in contractor management and service delivery.
  • Fully IT literate with strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences via phone and email.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders remotely.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Previous customer service and service delivery experience.
