THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
The Data Integrity team sits at the heart of Wave, making sure the data we rely on every day is accurate, trusted and fit for purpose. We work closely with teams across the business to spot data issues, fix them properly and stop them from happening again.
We’re looking for a Data Integrity Analyst to help us raise the bar on data quality across Wave. In this role, you’ll get hands on with our data: investigate issues, cleansing and correcting records, designing smart fixes that work at scale and embedding better ways of capturing and managing data.
WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
- Start the day by reviewing ongoing data issues, remediation work and data quality reports
- Analyse data integrity issues to identify root causes and prioritise what needs fixing
- Carry out targeted data cleansing and corrections
- Use SQL, Excel and reporting tools to investigate issues and validate data accuracy
- Document remediation activity, data standards and processes clearly
- Test data fixes and improvements, validating outcomes with business users
- Review data capture processes and recommend improvements
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Experience working with data, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency and reliability
- The ability to analyse data issues, identify root causes and design effective sustainable fixes
- Confidence gathering and translating data quality requirements from non-technical stakeholders
- An understanding of how data flows across systems and how data quality impacts operational and customer outcomes
- A structured, organised approach with the ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to collaborate across teams
- A curious, problem-solving mindset with an eye for patterns, trends and improvement opportunities
- A proactive “can do” attitude and the motivation to help build and strengthen Wave’s data culture
- Demonstrable experience of SQL
