WAVE Trauma Centre are recruiting for a Centre Manager based in our Killough centre. WAVE Killough offers a range of services to those living in the Newry, Mourne & Down District areas and beyond. Our rural location on the County Down coast provides a safe welcoming environment where clients can come for a range of therapies such as counselling and complementary therapy, Outreach, Health & Wellbeing, peer support/creative courses and the opportunity for respite in its beautiful self-catering accommodation options.

The postholder will be expected to embody, champion and promote these values in all aspects of leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all interactions reflect WAVE’s commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care.

They will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre and the activities delivered at this beautiful self-catering accommodation.

  • Salary: £42,839 per annum
  • Location: 32 Castle Street Killough BT30 7QQ
  • Hours of Work: 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm, 1 day work from home
  • Due to the nature of the role, the post holder may be required to work evenings and weekends on an occasional basis to meet operational needs.

WAVE is committed to the support, training and development of its staff and offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package for the post holder to include: 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) and 11 statutory days. A training and development programme and employee support package are also in place, with the organisation giving an 8% pension contribution, with no employee contribution required.
