We are partnering with a very exciting Mental Health start-up who are building a comprehensive mental health platform with both free direct-to-consumer as well as B2B offerings. Having recently partnered with the biggest healthcare provider in the world, and been named Start up & App of the year, they are well positioned for rapid growth.
They are looking for VP/Head of Data & AI to spearhead the development of an ML/AI patient triage platform - we are looking for a technical (hands-on) leader with experience working in the HealthTech space (ideally mental health related), in a start-up/scale-up environment.
Technical and Data Challenges:
- Managing sensitive conversation data from users discussing mental health issues
- Establishing data privacy and security protocols, especially for B2B partnerships
- Implementing clinical efficacy guardrails for AI systems
- Creating appropriate boundaries between AI companion vs. therapist role
- Developing comprehensive data modelling and analytics capabilities
Required expertise:
- HealthTech background is a must have, ideally with experience working on Mental Health products/services
- Deep machine learning, data engineering and AI expertise
- Ability to be hands-on while developing strategic direction (and leading a team in the future)
- Proven track record building data services to enable product innovation
- Experience defining data architecture and governance
- Understanding of clinical safety considerations
