A data intelligence platform specialising in Private Equity is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.
Data is at the heart of the company and the product, so alongside Software Engineers, you and your team would work closely with Data Engineers too - in fact, this role reports into a Head of Data & Platform Engineering which highlights the synergy between these teams.
In this role, you'll provide technical guidance and mentorship to 2 less senior colleagues, but work as an individual contributor for the vast majority of your time to start off with - you'll have a clear progression path to a Tech Lead in 9-12 months so we're looking for someone who wants to go down the leadership route, whilst remaining close to technology.
Must have requirements:- Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE or self-hosted)
- Terraform
- Cloud - can be any background but need to be comfortable moving to Azure
- CI/CD - ideally Github Actions, but happy with other tools
- Can do attitude and problem solving skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Aspiration to lead a (small) team
- Previous leadership/mentorship experience
- Previous experience working with Data Engineers
- Understanding of Private Equity and/or financial accounting
- Experience working with Identity Providers (e.g. Azure B2C, Okta)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Familiarity with monitoring (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana)
