We’re looking for an experienced Data leader to scale a Product Analytics function for high-growth financial products. Join one of the most successful FinTechs to come out of the UK - this mission-driven scale-up helps SMEs thrive with innovative credit products and lending solutions. Transitioning into new product lines, they are hiring a Head of Product (Data) Analytics to rebuild and lead the function at a pivotal growth stage for the business.
What you’ll do:
- Set the strategic direction for Product Analytics across new product lines (including credit cards)
- Rebuild and lead a team of analysts and analytics engineers - currently split into 3 squads, all with their respective Leads/Managers
- Define what “good” looks like for analytics and data products
- Act as a key partner to the VP of Data on platform, architecture and infra decisions
- Operate as a player-coach, comfortable whiteboarding solutions as well as occasionally being hands-on when needed to lead by example
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, risk, finance and marketing to embed data-driven decision-making
- Develop frameworks for experimentation, analysis and attribution that support product optimisation
- Drive insights that directly influence product innovation and business planning
Must have requirements:
- Deep knowledge of lending/credit products (credit card experience is highly desirable).
- Strong track record building and scaling analytics teams in fast-growing tech or FinTech environments.
- Team building and leadership experience, including line managing other managers.
- Expertise in product analytics, experimentation and measurement with tangible business impact.
- Strong commercial understanding of LTV, pricing, churn and forecasting.
- Technical hands-on competency, particularly around data manipulation and analysis, including strong scripting/coding skills (and the ability to coach others) in SQL, Python and AWS.
