A well-established UK fintech is evolving from a single-product lender into a multi-product SME funding platform. With strong traction across a revolving credit product and a newly launched business credit card, they are hiring a senior analytics leader to rebuild and lead the function at a pivotal growth stage. This is a senior role with real ownership across people, strategy and decision-making.
The Role:
- Lead and rebuild a ~9-person analytics function, including two managers and a senior IC
- Own analytics across the full customer lifecycle: acquisition, engagement, retention and unit economics
- Operate as a player-coach, comfortable whiteboarding problems and running fast analyses when needed
- Partner closely with product, risk, marketing, finance and senior leadership
- Define what “good” looks like for KPIs, insight quality and decision frameworks
- Influence data platform and tooling decisions alongside senior data and engineering leaders
What You’ll Bring:
- Senior analytics leadership experience, including managing managers
- Background in fintech, lending or credit products (credit card experience a strong plus)
- Comfortable staying close to the detail without being a full-time IC
- Strong commercial understanding of LTV, pricing, churn and forecasting
- Ability to influence effectively from board level through to analysts
- A genuine interest in developing people and building long-term careers
