p strong Strategic Account Lead (Retail Consumer) /strong /p p br /p p Wave Search is exclusively partnered with a fast-growing specialist consultancy operating at the intersection of retail, commerce, digital transformation, and technology services. /p p Following continued investment and expansion, the business is looking to hire a Strategic Account Lead to take ownership of a portfolio of key retail and consumer accounts. /p p This is not a passive account management role. /p p They are looking for someone commercial, proactive, and relationship-led — someone who can get close to customers, build senior stakeholder relationships, identify opportunity, and drive meaningful account growth. /p p br /p p strong The Opportunity /strong /p p This organisation has built a strong reputation delivering complex transformation programmes across the retail and consumer space, supporting well-known UK and international brands with commerce strategy, digital services, technology transformation, managed services, and AI-enabled solutions. /p p The successful person will inherit several strategic accounts and will be responsible for growing revenue through a combination of account expansion, cross-sell, upsell, and opportunity creation. /p p This role would suit someone who enjoys operating commercially within existing accounts while still bringing the energy and mindset of a hunter. /p p br /p p strong What You’ll Be Doing /strong /p p • Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic retail and consumer accounts /p p • Building senior stakeholder relationships, including up to C-suite level /p p • Identifying whitespace and expansion opportunities within existing customers /p p • Driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities across a broad services portfolio /p p • Supporting proposition development, pre-sales, and solution shaping /p p • Developing strategic account plans focused on long-term growth /p p • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers navigating retail transformation challenges /p p br /p p strong What They’re Looking For /strong /p p • Strong strategic account management experience within retail and consumer sectors /p p • Proven track record of growing revenue across existing accounts /p p • Experience combining farming and hunting within named accounts /p p • Strong commercial instincts and opportunity-led mindset /p p • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and decision makers /p p • Understanding of retail operations, supply chain, customer engagement, automation, data, and AI-led transformation initiatives /p p br /p p strong Why This Opportunity? /strong /p p This is an opportunity to join a business where you can genuinely make an impact. /p p The environment is agile, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative — ideal for someone who wants visibility, ownership, and the ability to directly influence growth rather than sitting within a heavily layered structure. /p p You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of the company’s growth journey, working closely with leadership while helping shape expansion across some of their most strategic retail clients. /p p br /p p strong Location: /strong Hybrid with business travel /p p strong Package: /strong £100,000 - £120,000 Basic + Sales Incentive Plan + Benefits /p p br /p p strong If interested, please share your CV — our client is interviewing immediately. /strong /p
