As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a strong Presales Lead to support major Central Government opportunities, helping shape winning solutions across digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, cyber security, enterprise applications, and managed services.
This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of sales, solutioning, bid management, delivery, commercial, and client stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This organisation is a recognised leader in large-scale technology and transformation programmes, supporting some of the UK’s most complex and high-profile public sector organisations.
The successful individual will play a critical role in leading end-to-end presales activities, shaping compelling propositions, supporting complex bids, and ensuring solutions are commercially viable, technically robust, and fully compliant with public sector procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead presales and solutioning activities for Central Government opportunities
- Shape and own bid propositions across digital transformation, AI, cloud, cyber security, data, enterprise applications, and managed services
- Support competitive tenders through public sector procurement frameworks including G-Cloud and other government frameworks
- Engage with senior client stakeholders, bid teams, delivery teams, partners, legal, security, and commercial functions
- Develop solution approaches, implementation models, risk mitigation strategies, and service propositions
- Support pricing, commercial models, contractual reviews, and bid governance activities
- Lead client workshops, presentations, and solution walkthroughs
- Drive best practice across solution development, bid quality, and presales governance
Experience Required
- Proven experience leading presales, solutioning, or bid activities within UK Central Government or the wider Public Sector
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and tender processes
- Experience designing and presenting complex technology and services solutions
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness with exposure to pricing, risk, and contractual considerations
