We are working with a major global technology and transformation organisation looking to appoint an experienced Global Supply Manager β Automotive Aftermarket. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on the sourcing, commercialisation and ongoing supply of aftermarket and service parts for vehicle fleet operations. You will take ownership of identifying and onboarding suppliers, sourcing critical vehicle components, coordinating product qualification with engineering teams and ensuring the ongoing availability of parts required to keep fleet operations running.
The role would suit someone with a strong background in automotive procurement, strategic sourcing, aftermarket supply chain or supplier management, ideally gained within an automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, aftermarket parts organisation or vehicle fleet environment.
The Role
As Global Supply Manager, you will work across procurement, engineering, fleet operations, finance and supply chain, as well as directly with external suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Source and onboard suppliers for aftermarket vehicle components including brakes, filters, wipers, glass and other replacement/service parts
- Manage supplier identification, selection, onboarding and ongoing relationships
- Coordinate the procurement and qualification of new parts with engineering, fleet and validation teams
- Manage supplier documentation, setup and systems integration
- Manage purchase orders, requisitions, invoices and procure-to-pay processes
- Track lead times, deliveries, shipments and potential supply shortages
- Resolve supplier issues and escalations to maintain continuity of supply
- Support vehicle fleet requirements through effective inventory planning and forecasting
- Manage blanket POs, quick-turn purchases and changes in order quantities
- Conduct supplier meetings and monitor supplier performance
- Work closely with purchasing, finance, SAP and wider supply-chain teams to resolve operational and invoicing issues
- Support Bill of Materials (BOM) tracking, part-level forecasting and cost reporting
- Produce dashboards and reporting covering spend, supplier performance and operational trends
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to ensure aftermarket parts meet the required standards and specifications
Your Experience
We are looking for someone with strong experience across automotive aftermarket supply chain, procurement, sourcing or supplier management. You should ideally have:
- Experience sourcing and managing automotive aftermarket, replacement or service parts
- Strong automotive procurement or strategic sourcing experience
- Experience identifying, onboarding and managing suppliers
- Good understanding of procure-to-pay, including purchase orders, invoices and requisitions
- Experience managing supplier lead times, shortages, shipments and escalations
- Understanding of contract manufacturing and commercial supply-chain processes
- Experience working closely with engineering, fleet or operational teams
- Understanding of BOM structures and part-level forecasting
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, including dashboards, pivot tables, VLOOKUP and spend analysis
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly
