We are partnering with a leading global technology and consulting organisation seeking an experienced Manufacturing Data & Analytics Leader to drive data-led transformation across its UK manufacturing client base. This is a senior, client-facing position combining data strategy, consulting, pre-sales, business development and transformation delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges, define data strategies and develop analytics solutions that deliver measurable operational and commercial value.

You will act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing clients, helping them shape and deliver data and analytics transformation programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining data and analytics strategies, roadmaps and transformation initiatives
  • Advising senior business and technology stakeholders on data-led opportunities
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across manufacturing clients
  • Leading discovery workshops to identify analytics use cases and develop business cases
  • Translating manufacturing challenges into practical data and analytics solutions
  • Delivering data maturity assessments, strategy engagements and transformation roadmaps
  • Leading and contributing to pre-sales activity, including RFI and RFP responses
  • Developing proposals, presentations and solution approaches for senior audiences
  • Analysing manufacturing processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities
  • Designing solutions aligned with client objectives and existing technology landscapes
  • Working with global cloud, data, AI and delivery teams to support successful implementation
  • Providing manufacturing-sector expertise throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle

About you: You will be an established data and analytics leader with strong manufacturing-sector experience and the ability to operate confidently across strategy, consulting, solution development and client engagement. You should bring:

  • Significant leadership experience within data and analytics
  • Strong experience working within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience developing data strategies, transformation roadmaps and business cases
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience with platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
  • Understanding of modern data architectures, including Lakehouse environments
  • Experience leading or supporting complex data transformation programmes
  • A strong track record of engaging senior business and technology stakeholders
  • Experience translating business challenges into data and analytics solutions
  • Previous involvement in consulting, pre-sales or business development
  • Experience preparing proposals and responding to RFIs or RFPs
  • Strong workshop facilitation, presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple client initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience delivering advanced analytics, artificial intelligence or machine learning use cases within manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
