An opportunity has arisen for two Strategic Account Managers to join a growing organisation focused on delivering consulting and technology-led solutions to leading retail and consumer brands. This role is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving revenue growth through relationship development, opportunity identification, and solution-led engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic retail and consumer accounts
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, including C-suite
  • Identify, shape, and convert new business opportunities within accounts
  • Drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling services
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned to client objectives
  • Support proposition development and contribute to pre-sales activities

Experience & Profile

  • Proven experience in strategic account management within retail and/or consumer sectors
  • Strong track record of growing revenue within existing accounts (farming and hunting)
  • Ability to engage, influence, and build relationships at senior and executive level
  • Experience selling consulting, services, or technology-led solutions using a value-driven approach
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain, store environments, and customer engagement
  • Awareness of key challenges facing retailers and how technology, data, and AI can address them
  • Commercially driven, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
  • Energetic, ambitious, and comfortable operating in a client-facing environment

Background

Candidates are likely to come from IT services, consulting, or software organisations with exposure to retail and consumer clients.

Location: UK (London / Oxford preferred, flexible)

Working pattern: Hybrid (2–3 days per week with clients)

Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 base + car allowance + commission + benefits
