We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to work on programming, diagnosing, and optimising electrical control systems across a wide range of products. This role is a junior position which offers hands-on involvement in system design, troubleshooting, and electrical modifications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a background from university or work experience in control or embedded systems, and electrical understanding.
- Programming & Testing – Develop, configure, and test electrical systems for a diverse range of products.
- Fault Diagnosis – Identify and resolve electrical and programming-related issues within build, test, and service.
- Documentation & Reporting – Create technical documents, maintain data sheets, and log programming updates.
- PLC Programming & Circuit Modifications – Design and develop new systems, ensuring efficient control processes.
- Field Support – Assist service teams with troubleshooting, including occasional travel across the UK and internationally.
- Workload Management – Prioritise daily tasks and ensure smooth execution of projects.
Degree or relevant qualification in electrical engineering, control systems, or PLC programming.
- Strong fault-finding skills within electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics & wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
