This is a Fixed Term, Part Time vacancy that will close in a day at 23:59 GMT.

Role: Teaching Assistant – 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only. Fixed term Contract until 23/07/2027. Expected start date – ASAP.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed Teaching Assistant who embodies our Trust values; candidates who have diverse experience, as well as a passion for working with young people with additional needs.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, boundless patience and resilience and the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference with pupils who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.

Wave is dedicated to the safeguarding of children and Safer Recruitment Procedures will be followed. The position requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and online check. We may close this vacancy early as we review applications as they are received.

About The Academy

Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision setting providing full time education for children from 4-16 years of age. Catchment includes Central Devon including Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon working closely with Devon County Council to ensure a swift transition both into and out of the Academy to minimise the impact on pupil’s learning.
