Interim Finance Systems Implementation PM — NetSuite Rollout — 6 Months — Remote — Outside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Interim Finance Systems Implementation PM to lead a NetSuite implementation for a business undergoing a significant finance systems transformation, working closely with an internal finance team product owner.
The role:
You'll manage two parallel workstreams:
- An external implementation agency delivering the core NetSuite build and configuration
- An internal engineering team rebuilding billing processes in Salesforce and building the NetSuite integration
This is a hands-on delivery role. You'll need to bring structure to a programme that's still early in its discovery phase on the billing side, keep a third-party agency accountable to scope and cost, and make sure both workstreams land in sync.
Timeline:
- Start: September (ASAP)
- Contract length: 6 months, with potential extension
- Hard deadline: end of March 2027, ahead of a regulatory billing change taking effect in April 2027
What we're looking for:
- Has led more than one finance systems replacement (sector agnostic)
- Direct experience with billing process redesign
- Strong track record managing external implementation agencies, holding them to scope and pace without derailing the relationship
- Comfortable operating across both finance and technology stakeholders
- Collaborative delivery style; able to bring people with you rather than push through, so that risks and blockers surface early rather than late
