About Wave Group
Wave Global Group is a tech-enabled professional services business with two services engines and a product arm that incubates and owns its software and data assets. Services, software, and data compounding together.
- Wave Talent. UK recruitment and staffing. Permanent and contract technology and digital professionals for VC-backed and enterprise clients. The original and largest revenue engine.
- WaveWorks. SoW-based enterprise consultancy. Multi-workstream technology programmes at seven-figure scale. The growth engine within Wave's revenue mix from services to programmes.
- Wave Labs. The group's product and technology arm. Labs incubated and owns the group's two proprietary assets:
- WaveMind. Self-serve AI hiring platform, built on Wave Talent's proprietary candidate universe. A quality-controlled alternative to pure AI hiring tools. The ARR engine.
You’ll be joining a group that works with the world's best and fastest-growing companies, from Fresha, Kaluza and SenseOn through to AWS, Xero and Ticketmaster. It’s a pivotal moment to come aboard and you’ll play a key part in the group to help compound our success against that trajectory.
We started the year with a London HQ by the end of it, we will have a Dubai office, opening this month, and an US office opening in 2027. Wave is working towards further growth so you’ll have a real share in the value you help create.
The role in one paragraph
You’ll own Wave Group’s growth marketing engine end-to-end, with wide latitude to bring ideas, challenge the plan, and shape how it all runs. It’s hands-on and full-cycle: you drive demand and run the campaigns, and you’re measured on the pipeline you create. This is a role for a builder.
You’ll have unusual leverage from day one. Wave is already one of the UK's best-known talent groups, with a 120k+ LinkedIn following, founder profiles each over 20k, a sales team with genuine personal audiences, a library of video content, and six years of proprietary data to draw on. It’s a rich set of raw materials, waiting for someone commercial and creative enough to turn it into a working engine, and you’ll have design and production firepower (our Creative Manager) to make your ideas happen, fast. Think of it as the marketing brain behind the commercial function: getting in front of more of the right buyers, growing the pipeline that follows, and proving it converts.
What you own and what success looks like:
Growth and demand strategy
- Turn commercial priorities into a marketing plan across the group. Define ICPs and the channels, campaigns, and sequencing to reach them. Decide what we do, and what we don’t.
The outbound / demand-gen engine
- Own demand generation and account-based campaigns: create scarcity, frame the pain, and reach the right buyers at the moment they’re ready, across email, LinkedIn, events, and ads where they earn their place. You own the concepts, the targeting, the timing, and the message.
The inbound engine
- LinkedIn is our main channel but it isn’t the whole answer. Work out where our buyers and candidates actually pay attention (LinkedIn, X, search, newsletters, communities, events) and assemble the channel mix that earns inbound, rather than defaulting to one platform. Own content and SEO direction, get more out of the assets we underuse, and instrument all of it so every channel ties back to pipeline, and you can see what’s actually working.
Measurement that ties to revenue
- You’re accountable for the pipeline you generate for the group. Put lightweight measurement in place, learn what’s driving results, and put more behind it.
Build the function
- Start hands‑on. Set up the operating rhythm: content cadence, campaign briefs, sequence library, measurement. Test, prove, automate, move to the next thing. Define future hires and support based on what’s actually driving outcomes.
Who we’re looking for:
- 5 + years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally at an early-stage or small-to-medium, high-growth business (a team of one or two, or an early marketing hire).
- You can show real pipeline growth. You’ve been measured on leads the sales team closed. You’ve helped take a business from seed to Series A, or scaled ARR meaningfully, with a part you can point to.
- Full-cycle growth marketer: comfortable across outbound (demand gen, ABM, email sequences) and inbound (LinkedIn, content, events, SEO).
- Commercially obsessed. You think like an owner. You care about revenue, and you ask the questions a marketer should (does a CTO live on Twitter? what’s the easiest segment to win this month?) and then act on them.
- AI-native. You reach for modern tools by default, and you’ll have a six-year data asset and engineers in-house to work with.
- Comfortable in a CRM; signal-based and Clay-style workflows are a plus, not a requirement.
- Hands‑on and creative. You’re hungry, and you’d rather do the work yourself than direct it from a distance.
- Highly organised. You put operating rhythms and systems in place, not just campaigns, and keep things running without it all living in your head.
In the first 6 to 12 months:
- Qualified pipeline flowing across the group, with clear attribution to what’s driving it.
- A measurable lift in inbound, and a steady stream of client responses that come from Wave Group marketing rather than from a recruiter’s personal outreach.
- Inbound and outbound running as one connected engine, not separate channels and one-off pushes, with our placement data feeding targeting, timing, and content across the customer lifecycle.
- A documented operating rhythm the function runs on, so it keeps producing without constant founder input.
Why work at Wave:
- Shoreditch HQ with hybrid working (3 days in)
- 30+ days annual leave including birthday and Christmas closure
- Private healthcare with AXA
- Enhanced parental leave
- Performance‑related bonus
- Annual company trips for high achievers (past trips: Mexico, Vegas, Mykonos, Dubai)
