This is a rare chance to join a fast-moving telecoms business at the start of a genuine AI transformation. Not a centre of excellence. Not a pilot programme. Actual AI systems, in production, serving millions of customers across Europe.

What you'll build:

  • A real-time voice AI system — customer verification and service, handling live calls autonomously before a human agent ever gets involved.
  • An intelligent pricing agent — monitoring competitors, processing market signals, and recommending (or autonomously setting) tariffs across an expanding international eSIM product.
  • Beyond those, there's a roadmap that includes real-time translation, fraud detection, and a goal of becoming a fully AI-native organisation.

You won't be told what to build next — you'll help figure that out.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong Python and experience shipping LLM-powered systems to production
  • Hands-on RAG experience — chunking, hybrid retrieval, vector DBs (Pinecone, Azure Search)
  • LLM frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex
  • Agentic AI systems built and deployed (not just prototyped)
  • Cloud-native: AWS, GCP or Azure + Docker/Kubernetes
  • Voice AI experience (Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Whisper, Azure Speech) is a big plus — but we'll back the right engineer over the perfect skill match.
